For its 2026 Formula 1 debut, Audi has opted for particularly bold solutions, especially regarding aerodynamics. While the ‘size zero’ and the sidepod inlet design were already highlighted during the launch, attention has now shifted to the RS26’s front wing: a specification featuring an unprecedented layout that could set a new benchmark.

The endplate is offset rearwards by a few centimeters from the mainplane’s leading edge, which consequently increases its chord and features an upswept curvature to channel more airflow toward the underbody. Also of note is the first flap, which shows a shallower angle of connection to the vertical endplate.
