Andrea de Adamich, a formidable driver in prototypes, was one of the first to bring advertising to single-seaters when he arrived in Formula 1. You may remember the white 1973 Brabham Ford BT42 sponsored by Pagnossin ceramics. In this post, you can admire the original drawing I made at the time. His ability to recount the stages of the race was incredible. In those years, I was a journalist for Gazzetta dello Sport, and his explanations were always extremely detailed and precise, from the moment he got into the car until the end of the race. Today, we lose another piece of Italian motorsport history.
