Jody Scheckter was the last driver to win the world title with the 12-cylinder boxer engine and the Ferrari 312 T4, depicted here in both its standard configuration and the very special version designed for Monte Carlo. This was the era of wing cars, and the transverse dimensions of the boxer engine significantly limited the efficiency of the venturi channels in the side panels.
